The Teaching Coach course work is valuable for those who lead sports at any level. A series of professionally produced video presentations address the following areas:

  • Goal Setting for Success
  • Anxiety in Sport Settings
  • Performing Under Stress
  • Success and Failure in Team Sport
  • Controlling Aggression
  • Presenting Staleness and Burnout

A special feature is the commentary about successful coaching provided by Dr. Tom Davis, one of the nations "winningest" basketball coaches. Dr. Davis is a career educator, now teaching his athletes at Drake University.

A free copy of the textbook is included. This course is available on DVD.

Drake University has been selected for a $1.1 million federal grant that will allow eight of Des Moines’ urban childcare centers to increase the quality of year-round, full-day service for infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds.
