COURSE OVERVIEW
The Teaching Coach course work is valuable for those who lead sports at any level. A series of professionally produced video presentations address the following areas:
- Coach/Athlete Relationships
- Team Cohesion
- Motivation for Peak Performance
- Goal Setting for Success
- Anxiety in Sport Settings
- Performing Under Stress
- Success and Failure in Team Sport
- Controlling Aggression
- Presenting Staleness and Burnout
A special feature is the commentary about successful coaching provided by Dr. Tom Davis, one of the nations “winningest” basketball coaches. Dr. Davis is a career educator, now teaching his athletes at Drake University.
A free copy of the textbook is included. This course is available on DVD.
