Course Overview

Track and Field 401 examines the methods for teaching and coaching the mechanics of track and field events (sprints, relays, hurdles, distance, long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, and discus); the training concepts and theories for various events; and the organization and administration of a track and field program.
