Video Courses Specific to Student Behavior and Academic Performance

Drake University Extension Education partners with Quality Educational Programs, Inc. to provide graduate level courses in a video correspondence format. These courses provide K-12 educators with practical content in a convenient manner. You may enroll in a maximum of 12 graduate credit hours in one semester.

Always check in advance to make sure you can use these courses/credit in the manner you wish. Most use credit from QEP course for:

  • Renewal of teaching certificates. 
  • Advancement on local salary schedules. 
  • Elective credits on graduate degree programs (check in advance with your advisor). 

Fall Registration: July 1 - November 30, 2014.

Students seeking to use these courses for recertification or salary advancement should seek prior approval from their school district or appropriate licensing agency.

Important Transcript Information: The official semester designation on your transcript will be the semester in which you register/enroll for a video course.   The official  transcript will list the course and grade in the semester in which you register/enroll for a course, not the semester in which completed course work is submitted.

Expedited Grading

The Drake Distance Learning Center does offer expedited grading. We will grade your materials and report a letter grade to our Registrar within 5 business days after receipt of your course work in our Distance Learning Center. The expedited grading fee is $85.00 per course. You must place the Expedited Grading Form on top of your course work so it will be clearly visible.
