ELECTRICAL
Persons working with electricity are exposed to a variety of hazards including electrocution. OSHA has recently revised the Electrical Standard. The new standard relies heavily on the Electrical Safety Performance Requirements for Workers (NFPA 70E) published by the National Fire Protection Association and on the 2000 edition of the National Electrical code. The revised standard focus on safety in design and installation of electrical equipment in the workplace.
If you have an electrical problem on campus during regular hours contact 271-3955 and report your problem.
If you have an electrical problem on campus after hours contact Security at 271-2222 and they will contact an electrician.
