Eye and face protection is required when exposed to hazards that can injure the face or eye.

Drake requires that safety glasses be worn when working with chemicals and when grinding, sawing, removing light bulbs and performing other tasks that could result in particles or liquids entering the eye.

Face shields are required when cutting metal and when chemicals can splash the face.

For assistance in selecting the proper eye ware or face shield contact the Environmental Health and Safety department at EHS or call 271-3125.
