The Maintenance Department is frequently referred to as the Crafts Department.

Responsibilities of the department:

• Constant maintenance of all buildings on campus: plumbing, painting, locks and doors, carpentry, moving of furniture, boxes, etc. on campus and occasionally off campus. Click here for Office Move Procedures.
• Additional emphasis is put on the dorms at the beginning and end of each school year.
• Projects: renovation of Harvey Ingham 206 & 216, new 2500 sq ft Media Room in Drake Stadium, Cowles Library coffee shop, Morehouse front desk area.

The department consists of 1 plumber, 2 painters, 1 painter/locksmith, 1 locksmith, 1 finish carpenter/locksmith, 1 carpenter, 1 transport, 5 special skilled crafts people.
