| American Chemical Society (Minority Scholarship) Eligibility: Must be African-American, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. Must be a full-time student at an accredited college, university, or community college, and a high academic achiever in chemistry or science (Grade Point Average 3.0, "B" or better). Must be able to demonstrate financial need according to the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form. Must be a graduating high school senior, college freshman, sophomore or junior intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically-related science and planning a career in the chemical sciences or chemical technology. NOTE: Please note that students intending to enter Pre-Med programs or pursing a degree in Pharmacy are not eligible for this scholarship. | American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Eligibility: Undergraduate Students: A declared accounting major with an overall and accounting grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 on a four-point scale. A minority student who has satisfactorily completed at least 30 semester hours, or 45 quarter hours, equivalent college work including at least six (6) semester hours in accounting. Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (12 semester hours or equivalent) unless you are completing your final semester of study, at a four-year or upper division institution. Students who will be attending a four-year school for the first time must include an acceptance letter from the school. Graduate Students: A minority student who is enrolled in the final year of a five-year accounting program or an undergraduate accounting major who is presently accepted or enrolled in a master-level accounting; business administration, finance or taxation program, or who had any undergraduate major and is presently accepted in a master-level accounting program. Enrolled as a full-time graduate student (nine semester hours or equivalent), unless you are completing your final semester of study. NOTE: For the purpose of this program, the AICPA defines minority students as those of Black, Native American/Alaskan Native, or Pacific Island races, or of Hispanic ethnic origin. | The Lily Reintegration Scholarship Eligibility: Applicants must be diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizophreiform, schizoaffective disorder, or bipolar disorder. Applicants must be currently receiving medical treatment for the disease, including medications and psychiatric follow-up. Applicants must be actively involved in rehabilitative or reintegrative efforts, such as clubhouse membership, part-time work, volunteer efforts or school enrollment. | NAHJ ABC News Joanna Bistany Memorial Scholarship Program Eligibility: The NAHJ ABC News Joanna Bistany Memorial Scholarship Program is open to Hispanic undergraduate and first-year graduate students who are pursuing careers as English-language television broadcast journalists.
