| American Business Women’s Association Scholarship (ABWA) Eligibility: Applicants must be women who are Iowa residents and who will be or are presently attending accredited Iowa college, technical or vocational schools; full or part-time student applicants are acceptable. Student applicants must be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.5 or better, and ABWA members or members’ dependents from other chapters are eligible to apply. Applicant must be a non-traditional student who is a U.S. citizen and has completed at least one year in an institution of higher learning with satisfactory scholastic standing. | Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Des Moines Alumnae Chapter Eligibility: Applicant must be an African American female. Must be non-traditional (has not followed the normal progression from high school to college and has returned to the classroom to begin or continue post secondary education).
