Rick Long, CFA

Assistant Professor of Practice, Finance

Rick Long received his B.A. in Economics and Business from Cornell College and his M.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa. He teaches corporate finance, financial markets and institutions, and fixed income and derivatives classes.  Before coming to Drake University in 2010, he worked for a combined 25 years at Principal Global Investors and Aviva Investors North America, primarily in fixed income analysis and portfolio management. He has lived and managed investment portfolios in Hong Kong and London.
