Nine Republican presidential candidates shared the Jordan Stage in Sheslow Auditorium during the Aug. 5 live debate broadcast nationwide to millions of viewers by ABC News and ABC5. Drake students gained valuable experience helping ABC News prepare for and conduct the debate. The Democratic presidential candidates also came to Drake for a live debate on Aug. 19.
