5.09 ADMISSIONS AND FINANCIAL AID COMMITTEE
The Committee monitors and coordinates the admissions and financial aid policies
of the University. It shall act on exceptions to and recommend change in these polices
when in the Committee's judgment, such change is appropriate.
The membership shall consist of the Provost, Dean of Students, Dean of Admission
or delegate, the Assistant Vice President Student Financial Planning or delegate;
two members representing Deans, Associate/Assistant Deans, appointed to two-year
terms; six members of the Faculty of Instruction appointed to two-year terms; three
students appointed to two-year terms. The Chair is appointed by the Executive Committee
from among the Faculty of Instruction members.

SUBCOMMITTEE ON EXCEPTIONAL ADMISSIONS CASES
The Subcommittee is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to the Provost
on exceptional admissions cases brought to it by the Dean of Admission. The membership
of the Subcommittee shall consist of the six members of the Faculty of Instruction
appointed to the Admissions and Financial Aid Committee. The Chair of the Admissions
and Financial Aid Committee shall serve as the Chair of the Subcommittee.
