5.12 ANIMAL CARE SUBCOMMITTEE

The subcommittee reports to the Educational Policies and Issues Committee and is responsible for the administration of animal care in light of University policy and legal requirements.

The subcommittee consists of at least three members. The Chair is a member of the faculty who is familiar with the use of animals in teaching and research. One member of the subcommittee will be a licensed veterinarian.
