Drake Student Health Center

The American Republic Student Health Center is an on-campus medical facility open to full-time Drake students. 

Our healthcare professionals are ready and equipped to answer health-related questions, provide remedial help and, in severe cases, coordinate with local physicians and hospitals when a higher level of medical support is necessary. 

If you fall victim to a severe illness or experience an unfortunate injury, our expereinced staff are prepared to provide you with the immediate care and comfort you need.

   Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

   Wednesday 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Arriving Late, Canceling Appointments and No Show


Late Policy

If you arrive 5 minutes after your scheduled time, our staff will do our best to fit you in however you'll need to wait. 

In the event you arrive 10 minutes after your scheduled time, you will have to reschedule.


Cancellation and No Show Policies

All cancellations MUST be made 2 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Failing to do so 3 or more times within an academic year will require you to seek medical care elsewhere for the remainder of the year. 

The same applies if you schedule 3 appointments missing each one and failing to contact our office to cancel them.
