Young leaders of character
Team members of Young Leaders of Character travel throughout Iowa to teach other students about making good choices using the Six Pillars of CHARACTER COUNTS!.
The 2008 Young Leaders of Character team is made up 48 high school students from the Greater Des Moines and Cedar Valley areas.

Congratulations to the Youth Training Core for winning the 2007 Governor's Volunteer Service Award. The award was given because of their "major contribution to the development of successful children, adults, families, and communities in the State of Iowa".
