CHARACTER COUNTS! In Iowa is pleased to offer trainings and workshops to assist schools, communities, businesses and organizations in their character development initiatives. Our professional team of trainers can conduct a workshop tailored to your needs.
In addition, we also offer "Open Enrollment" workshops that are open to the general public. There are no open enrollments scheduled at this time.
An Introduction to CHARACTER COUNTS! In Iowa
We believe that character counts in Iowa. This short session provides an introduction to character development, making good decisions and more.
Making An Impact: A Framework for Character Development
This 2 day course provides a study of
ethics and character development centered on providing the information, skills and resources for
participants to mobilize a character development initiative when they return to their classroom, home or
community. Course content will tie to the Eleven Principles of Character Education and links with current

Athletics: Building or Revealing Character
Administrators, coaches, parents and community members can be a dominant force in shaping the culture and character of an anthletic department. This class will examine the impact of sports and how it impacts the social character of America through a variety of athletic models. Click here for a course syllabus.
Youth to Youth
Young Leaders of Character is a group of Iowa High School students who travel thorughout the state to teach others students about making good choices. This peer-to-peer workshop will help your students teach their classmates about character and good choices. Additionally, this is a great way to devleop the leadership abilities of your students and help build more positive role models in your school.
