APPLICATION FOR 2008-09 TEACHING POSITIONS IN CHINA ACCEPTED December 1, 2007 to March 1, 2008

Instructions: Applying for a Teaching Position in China

1) Complete application form: Available here

2) Prepare a resume

3) Arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent to the address below on your behalf. (Recommendation letters should speak to your academic background and preparedness to teach in China).

4) Provide a copy of your official transcripts

5) Send the completed application form, resume, transcripts, and recommendation letters to:

 **Consider learning some Chinese before you go at DULAP!

Please Note: Successful candidates will be notified by e-mail within one month of the application deadline. At that time, details of the appointment will be finalized and the documents needed for the Chinese VISA and residency permit will be requested. Successful candidates will be required to participate in a two week intensive training course that includes teacher preparation, cultural orientation, and an introduction to Chinese language. A fee applies of approximately $1,045 to cover the costs of this training, the placement, and continued guidance throughout the year in China.
