To assist refugees in areas such as housing, employment, and adjustment to life in a new country.

History of the Organization:

This organization is a cooperative venture between the Lutheran and Catholic churches.

International Issues and Focus:

Immigration and refugee issues.

Events and Programs Sponsored:

Help provide refugee and their families with basic necessities, such as furniture, household items, clothing. Assist refugees in obtaining housing and employment and in learning about the routines of daily life in a new setting.

Membership: There is no membership, but volunteers to assist refugee families in adjusting o their new lives in Iowa are needed and welcome.
