Resources for Students: Links to the Moodle and Blogs
The Moodle (http://dulap.drake.edu/moodle/)
The Moodle is the course management system used by DULAP.
Students will have a Moodle course for both their language course and their language learning strategies course.
Through the Moodle, you can access your course syllabus, the ePortfolio handbook, listening practice materials (CDs that accompany your textbook, Model for the Audio Samples, etc.), links to outside websites, and other resources.
DULAP Blogs (http://dulap2.drake.edu/weblog/)
DULAP utilizes blogs for several purposes. Most blogs serve as containers for student ePortfolios. There is also a blog for each language, which serve as sources of cultural information related to the language you are studying. On some of the language blogs, language partners write about their experience in the US in their native language.
Language Acquisition Strategies Blog (http://dulap2.drake.edu/weblog/strategies98/)
This blog is a resource on Language Acquisition Strategies and is mainly used by students in Language Learning Strategies 98.
DULAP How To Blog (http://dulap2.drake.edu/weblog/dulaphowto/)
The "DULAP How To Blog" contains all the instructions you need related to the technology you will use as a DULAP student. If you cannot find the answer to your technology question in the DULAP How To Blog, ask one of the Student Consultants in the Language Center or Clayton Mitchell.
Model Blog (http://dulap2.drake.edu/weblog/modelblog/)
Confused on what you need to do for your ePortfolio? The model blog contains useful suggestions and instructions for each ePortfolio component.
