CMS and Portal Training

Before requesting training, please have answers to the following questions prepared and contact the individual listed below.

  • Have you had any previous CMS training? Do you have an account already?

  • What Department/School are you representing in the CMS?

  • Do you need access to Website content or Portal content? If Website, which pages/sections? If Portal, which channels?

  • Is your site in the CMS or does it need to be migrated to the CMS from a separate system?

  • If it needs to be migrated, who will be doing the migration tasks?

  • Does your site need an overhaul? Would you need additional support, graphic design, data migration, or additional technical development?

If you already have an account and have spoken with Jeremy regarding the setup and layout of your site, please contact Deanna *4007 (for CMS training) or Peggy *4510 (for Portal training)

In CMS Training, you will have a customized session that will address all of your needs for your specific site. We will cover: creating and editing pages, importing images, linking to other sites and emails, working in tables and anything else that may be needed for your site to look its best.

In Portal Training, you will have a customized session that will address how to maintain the channel you are responsible for. A prior understanding of CMS is recommended.
