The process of configuring your computer to connect to Drake Wireless will seem unnecessarily complex. After all, one can go to any airport, motel or coffee shop and have wireless access with little effort. However, bear in mind that most of these networks are not secure and even a novice can download software that will permit them to intercept your information as it travels over the network. We take very seriously our responsibility for protecting your use of our network from the unscrupulous.
To access the wireless network, your computer must meet certain hardware and software standards. In addition, the manner in which your computer's wireless capability must be configured depends upon the operating system (Windows XP or Macintosh) and how it logs in to the network.
The links below point to instructions for setting up management of your wireless by the computer operating system. Alternatively, you may use software distributed by the vendor of your wireless card. Follow the instructions that accompany the software.
