There are several things you should check on your phone before calling in a repair. The repair may be simple enough to fix yourself. If your phone still requires a technician to look at it, the repair line is x3999. Faculty and staff may report any repairs or cleaning needed themselves. Students must first contact your RA.
Contact your RA, CA, Hall Assistant, Area Director, or Complex Director (for G-K) IMMEDIATELY. They will check out the telephone and place a repair call if necessary. If you do not get a response within two working days, call the Repair Line at x3999. Repairs are done by a technician once daily, Monday through Friday. You do not need to be present during the repair. However, if you would like to be there, you will need to make an appointment with the repair staff. Call the Office of Telecommunications at X1919. It is important to first notify your RA of the problem you are having. They can assess the problem to give us a more accurate description and speed up the repair process. Also, if you experience a problem on a weekend or in the evening, they can sometimes fix the problem right away, and you would not have to wait for a Telecommunications repair technician.
