Step #12

There is a good chance that some of the classes you request will already be full. Don't panic. There is a very powerful search component of MYDUSIS designed to help you find classes that are open. Click on the “Student Services and Financial Aid” link.
On this menu click on the “Registration” Link
Now click on the “Look up classes to add” link. You need to at least select the academic area (such as Economics) you would like to search, and you can get as specific as you would like. You can even choose to search for classes according to the time they are offered! When the list of courses being offered that term appears a capital C at the far left of a course means it is closed. If a class is open there will be a check box that you can select if you wish to add it and then you have to click the Register button on the bottom of the page. Remember you must check to make sure that you are registered in the course.

It is also a good idea to take a look at your detailed student schedule before you exit the system. The student schedule by day and time is a particularly popular page. Try it out!

Finally, make sure you exit the MYDUSIS system when you are done. The EXIT button is in the upper right hand corner of the screen. We also recommend closing the internet browser so that someone else can't get to your information.

Congratulations! You are registered for fall classes.

If you have any problems, please contact your college office.

We are glad you are at Drake
