About Sandy Henry

As the lead producer for the Drake Teleproduction Center (DTC), Sandy puts more than a decade of award-winning experience to work. She works extensively with students and faculty in many different capacities, including:

  • The College Channel - (a TCI of Central Iowa channel) creating programming schedules for the channel and training and supervising work study Master Control Operators

  • Remote Television Production - utilizing the 5-camera DTC Production Truck and student crews to broadcast Drake Athletics, Drake Fine Arts and a variety of off-campus clients

  • Audio and Video Production - writing, producing and directing projects for on-campus organizations and off-campus clients, utilizing student and professional crews.

Sandy also assists with major classroom productions and is available as a resource to current students and alumni.

Bachelor of Arts, Journalism and Mass Communication, Drake University, 1988.
Master of Science, Mass Communication, Miami University (Ohio), 1990.
