What role does such high-minded language contained in the U.S. Constitution
play in these dizzying times of exploding technology, or instant
messaging, multi-media, convergence, Internet advertising strategies,
digital production, satellite delivery, global positioning, cell
telephone reporting?
-
We have the means to communicate from anywhere to everywhere. But
WHAT do we communicate? Whats the effect on the individual
or common good?
-
-
Drakes School of Journalism and Mass Communication strives
to educate tomorrows leaders in the exciting, challenging world
of journalism and mass communication.

tight writing, solid editing, and effective and interesting
presentation
get involved in major classes and campus media activities from the start

programs, magazines, and traditional and on-line newspapers
use modem technology that includes three Macintosh-equipped classrooms,
digital audio and video field recording editing, and multiple broadcast studios
-
Drakes journalism graduates work around the world in a variety
of professions that involve planning, message or program production,
publication and evaluation. We welcome students from other Drake

thinking skills as media consumers.
