Student Organizations
Several organizations serve broadcast news and radio-television majors including Drake's chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, and Drake Broadcasting System (DBS).

Many first- and second-year students participate in the student-funded Drake Broadcasting System. DBS produces radio and television programs for both campus and city audiences. You can see their Web site at www.drakebroadcasting.com.

Each year, the Drake Broadcasting System puts together
a live, two day broadcast of the Drake Relays. Above, Senior
