Students can also work on Drake Magazine and Drake Magazine Online (http://www.drakemagazine.com/) student-funded publications. Senior-year students write, edit, and produce 515 Magazine (http://www.drake.edu/journalism/515-04/index.html). Drake Magazine, Drake Magazine Online, and 515 all won first place nationally in their categories from the Society of Professional Journalists, making three Drake publications the best in the nation for 2005.
