Career Resources for Alumni

At Drake Law School, career development is a partnership. We understand that career paths are constantly changing and career development is an ongoing, lifelong process.

The Career Development Office's (CDO) services don't end when you graduate. Drake Law School offers career counseling, job postings, and networking events to all alumni.

Career Counseling

Alumni can schedule one-on-one career counseling sessions with the CDO staff at Drake Law School.  Resume and cover letter review services are also available, via email or in person.

To schedule an appointment, contact the CDO to determine counselor availability.

Job Postings

The CDO provides free access to Symplicity, a password-protected job database with hundreds of postings for students and alumni.  All alumni have access to job postings. To access this resource, use your student ID and then click "forgot password." If you do not recall your student ID or need additional assistance, email law-career@drake.edu and allow up to 48 hours for a response.

Visit the Symplicity job database.

Networking Events

The CDO hosts several networking events for Drake Law alumni throughout the year.  For more information on upcoming events, contact the CDO or the Law School Calendar
