Job Postings

There is never a charge for an employer to post a position on Symplicity or participate in any Drake Law CDO program or event.  Employers can quickly and easily create an account on and access  Symplicity individually or contact the CDO to post a position on your behalf.

On-campus Interviews & Resume Collection

Drake Law School invites law firms and other legal employers to participate in our fall and spring on-campus interview (OCI) and resume collection programs. Employers can request a schedule on Symplicity or by contacting the CDO directly. There is no cost to recruit at Drake.

The CDO advertises opportunities and collects the desired application materials. Everything can be done electronically. Employers review resumes in advance and select students to interview.  For employers interviewing on campus, Drake provides convenient interview rooms, free parking on a date chosen by the employer, and lunch. For Resume Collect or virtual interviews, we can support employers in creating a recruiting timeline convenient for them.

We welcome employers to campus to conduct interviews at any time.  If your interview schedule is outside the formal OCI period, you can contact the CDO to make arrangements.

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Is your organization working to educate itself on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal field?  We can help. Take a look at the tools on the Diversity and Inclusion Resources page and contact us if you would like to partner on an event or program.

Employer Opportunities

Interview Facilities – All employers are welcome to schedule a time to use our interview facilities for student interviews, available year-round. Simply contact our office for more information.

Virtual Interviews – Recognizing that it is not always possible or practical for employers to travel to campus, video and phone conferencing facilities are available and supported through CDO.

Engage with Students - Employers interact with Drake Law students through many CDO events and programs outside the interview process. Information sessions, mock interviews, networking events, mentorship opportunities, and even a running/walking club are just a few of the ways that employers get to know Drake Law students. Contact the CDO to learn more about these opportunities.
