Certificate Programs

Drake Law School offers 11 certificate programs, allowing JD students to get academic credit and build their resumes in a variety of specialties.

A certificate program is a formal course of study within the Law School curriculum that is analogous to a college major.

Successful completion of a certificate program not only represents significant learning in that topic, but it also demonstrates to potential employers a student's commitment to the practice area.

The Drake University 2018 Engaged Citizen Conference, “Nourishing (Feeding) the World,” is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 22, and Friday,  Feb. 23 in Drake’s Olmsted Center. Admission is free.
