At the regional competition in Chicago, Drake’s teams competed well, narrowly missing the semifinal round. The Blue Team, comprised of Zac Clausen, Emily Douglas, Kacy Flaherty, and Johnathan Sears, finished the preliminary rounds with a record of 3-6. The team defeated a team from Wisconsin and narrowly lost to two teams from Chicago-Kent, one of which finished as the regional champion.

The White Team, comprised of Manuel Cornell, Katherine Dick, Jordan Garrison-Nickerson, and Rachael Irlbeck, finished the preliminary rounds with a record of 7-2, defeating teams from Northern Illinois and Toledo and winning one of those rounds by an astounding 39 points (the largest margin of victory in a round by any Drake team in the past 10 years). The team narrowly a split decision to a team from Northwestern, which advanced to the semifinals. The ballot the White Team captured against Northwestern was the only ballot lost in the preliminary rounds by any team that ultimately advanced to the semifinals, showing the strength of the competition field in the region this year.

At the regional competition in Omaha, Drake captured its third consecutive regional title and its fourth in the past five years.

The Blue Team, comprised of Anna Bergman, Shannon Powers, Andrew Powers, Monika Sehic, and alternate Thomas Tolbert, finished the preliminary rounds with a record of 3-6, with five of the six lost ballots occurring by either one point or two points. This team defeated a team from Creighton and narrowly lost to teams from Tulsa (who advanced to the semifinals) and Colorado.

The White Team, comprised of Luke Draisey, Amy Garver, Sean Callison, Greg Whitaker and alternate John Sears, finished the preliminary rounds with a record of 8-1, defeating teams from Creighton, South Dakota, and Tulsa. The White Team captured the #1 seed for the knockout rounds and then swept a team from Tulsa in the semi-finals and defeated a team from Colorado to claim the regional championship. The White Team completed the tournament with a record of 13-2, with both lost ballots occurring by one point. The White Team advanced to the national finals in New Orleans, where they took 11th place out of 224 teams nationally.

At the regional competition in Omaha, The Drake teams finished with a combined 9-1 record, with the sole loss resulting from one Drake team defeating the other in the regional final.

The Blue Team, comprised of Anna Bergman, Sean Callison, Shannon Powers, and Andrew Powers, defeated teams from Creighton, Tulsa, and Colorado in the preliminary rounds, and earned the #3 seed for the knockout rounds. The Blue Team swept a team from Marquette in the semifinals to earn a bid in the regional final.

The White Team, comprised of Rob Conklin, Katie Yaske, Amy Garver, and Luke Draisey, defeated teams from Creighton, Tulsa, and South Dakota in the preliminary rounds, and captured the #1 seed for the knockout rounds. The White Team swept a team from Oklahoma City in the semi-finals and defeated the Blue Team in the regional final by a combined score of 156 to 152, with two of the three ballots decided by a single point. The White Team advances to the national finals, which are in Pittsburgh in mid-April. This is the second consecutive regional title for Drake, and the third in the last four years. It is also the second time in the last four years that two teams from Drake have competed against each other for the regional crown.

At the regional competition in Omaha, the Blue Team won all three preliminary rounds unanimously, compiling a 9-0 record against UMKC and two teams from South Dakota. This team lost in the semifinals by a single point. The White Team compiled a 7-2 record against UMKC and two teams from South Dakota. This team unanimously defeated William Mitchell in the semifinals, and defeated the University of Colorado to claim the regional title.

At the national competition in Santa Monica, California, the White Team faced teams from Syracuse, Maryland, and Charlotte in the preliminary rounds, and advanced to the quarterfinal round.  In the quarterfinals, the White Team outscored a team from New York University Law School but lost the round in a split decision.  Overall, the White Team finished in fifth place nationally.
