Commencement Ceremony

Spring 2018 Drake Law School Commencement
Saturday, May 19, 2018
7 p.m.
Knapp Center

Graduates line up alphabetically in the Law School at 6 p.m., and the bagpipe processional from Opperman to Knapp Center begins at 6:45 p.m.
The  Knapp Center opens for guests at 6 p.m. No tickets are needed, and the number of guests is unlimited. The ceremony lasts approximately 90 minutes and is followed by a reception at the Courtside Club in Shivers Practice Facility. All are invited to the reception.

Following the ceremony, personnel from University Bookstore will be on site to accept return of cap and gown rentals.

Drake Law School has established a new Institute for Justice Reform and Innovation. Directed by Judge Mark Bennett, the institute will serve as a center for research and training on implicit bias, sentencing reform, and improving trial procedures.
