SLAP – Concentration in Leadership Education and Development (LEAD)

Student Leadership Advisory Panel (SLAP) is an official student-run organization at Drake co-established by Professor Thomas Westbrook and Senior Jason Miller in January 2012. The purpose of SLAP is to empower leaders today, and prepare leaders for tomorrow. We develop and promote leadership in and around the Drake community. In addition, we shape and expand the Leadership Education and Development Concentration at Drake University. When Brytani Cavil addresses Drake University’s graduating class of 2016 as the top graduating senior, she aims to inspire more than her fellow students. She hopes to set an example for her two-year-old twins.
