Periphery
Published annually, student written and edited, Drake's literary magazine cares not for the safe and mainstream. It exists to challenge traditional boundaries of art and literature by giving voice to the alternative, experimental and unusual. All sorts of art, fiction, poetry, and personal and critical writings are welcome for submission.

Quiz Bowl
The Drake Quiz Team is searching to create an organization with the following principles: scholarship, leadership, developing region-wide connections, and plumb lots of erudition. In order to further these principles, the Drake Quiz Team seeks to enter various academic trivia competitions throughout the Midwest. In doing so, we plan to represent Drake in being the best, and most erudite sages possible.

Rainbow Union
Rainbow Union (RU) is an organization of and for people of all sexualities and gender identities. It provides a welcoming and confidential "safe place" to all students: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Straight Allies, Transgender, and those questioning their sexuality and/or gender identity. Created to provide a social and supportive environment for a vibrant population of Drake's campus, RU has become a leading campus organization. The continuing emphasis on programming and education culminates in two annual celebrations: National Coming Out Week and Pride Week. RU persists to support those dealing with issues of sexuality and gender, resists homophobia through example and education, and strives to prevent heterosexism in our lives and on our campus. RU invites all students to join and participate and, as always, makes no assumptions about a person's sexuality in our safe place.
