The Master of Accounting program is designed to meet the needs of students to reach their professional goals by completing an advanced degree while pursuing additional hours needed to meet the 150 hour requirement to become a Certified Public Accountant. Graduates comply with the Iowa Standards for Certification upon passing the Uniform Certified Public Accounting examination.
The Master of Accounting faculty are recognized scholars with extensive experience as practitioners and consultants, blending first hand knowledge of best practices into their teaching.

Completed applications are due by the following dates:
- December 16 for classes starting in spring (January)
- April 1 for classes starting in summer (May/June)
- July 15 for classes starting in fall (August)
