Affinity reunions are in the works for other Drake University colleges, schools and organizations, as well as 30- and 50-year cluster reunions.

Pharmacists often have only a short window of time to interact with patients who are picking up prescriptions. Knowing how to convey health information in a 30-second spot is essential, but understanding patient lifestyle is also important.

Developed in response to increasing interest in health care-related fields, Drake’s four-year health sciences program allows students to combine pharmaceutical, clinical or applied sciences with other fields such as business. The result? Exceptional professional preparation and a wide array of career options.

The Pharmacogenomics Teaching and Research Laboratory will not only benefit students, but that the facilities will enhance faculty research projects across science departments and spur collaboration across institutions.

Drake’s first ever All-Pharmacy Reunion — which will provide alumni with the chance to reminisce and network — will be held during the Drake Relays.

Drake’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will present it’s highest honor to Jack Ellis, a 1957 graduate and retired director of Abbott Laboratories, at a ceremony on April 27.
