Drake University Honor Jazz Band Festival

The Drake University Honor Jazz Band festival is an opportunity for the most talented students from high schools around the region to play together and work with the respected jazz musicians on the Drake University faculty.

Students are placed in ensembles according to their grades 9-12.

The event is held in Performing Arts Hall in the Harmon Fine Arts Center on the Drake campus.

Schedule:

• Rehearsal from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Clinics from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• Concert with Drake Jazz Ensemble 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Hall, Harmon Fine Arts Center
