Drake Trombone Choir

Since its inception in 2008, the Drake Trombone Choir (DTC) has become a staple within Drake chamber ensembles.

The DTC made its National performance debut at the 2013 Eastern Trombone Workshop, held at Ft. Myer in Arlington, Virginia. Being the first Iowa collegiate trombone choir to perform at the workshop, the ensemble premiered new works, written specifically for the ensemble. In addition to national performances, the DTC performs regularly on campus as well as throughout the community at area churches.

The ensemble rehearses on Monday evenings in Monroe Recital Hall from 6:30–8:30 p.m.
