Chad Jacobsen is an in demand recording engineer, educator and music technology consultant.

Mr. Jacobsen has worked on hundreds of records as a recordist, mixer and mastering engineer. He has traveled twice to Russia for orchestral and choral recording and once to South Africa. His recordings are a regular feature on public radio, and can be found on such record labels as Centaur and Innova.

He regularly serves as a consultant to studios on topics such as music technology, workflow, and system design.

Mr. Jacobsen currently teaches music technology at Drake University and serves as head engineer for the Department of Music at Iowa State University. He is also a full member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES).
