NASA Region 3 Conference

Welcome to the North American Saxophone Alliance Region 3 Conference website. We are excited to welcome all of you to Drake University in Des Moines March 13-15, 2015.

The Harmon Fine Arts Center, Sheslow Auditorium and the Turner Jazz Center will provide great spaces for participants, vendors and guests to practice, perform and interact throughout the conference.

Our theme this year focuses on mixed chamber music, which will be performed by our featured classical artists on the Saturday evening concert while our featured jazz artists will be collaborating with the Des Moines Big Band on Friday night. Additionally, we are excited to announce that the Guest Artist Masterclass will be given by Dr. Kenneth Tse from the University of Iowa. The conference will also offer a solo competition for both high school and college players.

Proposals will be accepted from student and professional members of the North American Saxophone Alliance. You may renew your membership in the Alliance if your membership is not current when you submit your proposal. Membership applications are available on the NASA web page.

We can’t wait to see you all here in March!
