Effects of Low Gravity Environments on Host-Pathogen Interactions

Microbes play important roles in human health and disease. As our endeavors in space exploration and human existence in space continue, it is critical to understand how the conditions encountered during spaceflight and extended stays in space may alter host-microbe interactions. As such our research is targeted in understanding how low gravity environments may alter both the host, pathogens and host-pathogen interactions.
