
Drake offers H1N1 vaccine to eligible students, faculty and staff on Monday

Students, faculty and staff who meet the criteria set by the Polk
County Health Department may obtain free H1N1 flu vaccinations at the
Student Health Center on Monday, Nov. 23.
The vaccination clinic will be open from noon to 2 p.m. at the Health Center, 3116 Carpenter Ave. No appointments are needed.
People eligible to be vaccinated are:

People eligible to be vaccinated are:
- Pregnant women
- People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
- Health care and emergency medical services personnel with direct patient contact diagnosing and treating patients with flu-like illness or direct contact with patients at high risk for influenza
- Children 6 months through 4 years of age
- People ages 5 through 64 who have chronic medical conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, lung or heart disease, chronic liver or kidney disease, or are immune-compromised because of cancer treatment or HIV.
- Children under the age of 10 who have already received their initial H1N1 vaccination
