DRAKE TO BROADCAST RELAYS ON CABLE TV AND ONLINE

Drake Broadcasting System will offer its annual Drake Relays Telecast to the Des Moines area on Mediacom Cable Channels 16 and 46 and to the world on the Internet at www.drakebroadcasting.com.

Now in its 18th year of broadcasting the Drake Relays, DBS will broadcast 15 hours of live Relays action over two days. Coverage will begin at noon on Friday, April 29, and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, and continue through the last event each day.

High demand for the Webstream each of the past two years caused system crashes. In response to this problem, DBS has purchased streaming services from DigitalWebcast based in Chicago, virtually guaranteeing uninterrupted service for all users.
