FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 6, 2000 CONTACT: Lisa Lacher, (515) 271-3119 DRAKE INSURANCE CENTER RECEIVES $40,000 GRANT The Society of Financial Examiners (SOFE) Education Foundation has awarded a grant of $40,000 to the Kelley Insurance Center at Drake University. The grant is intended to fund an educational seminar for senior financial state insurance regulators. The seminar will provide scholarships for the senior financial regulators selected to attend the three-day event. Twenty-six regulators from 17 states and the Virgin Islands have been selected and awarded scholarships. The seminar will be offered during the second week of January 2001 on the Drake campus.
