FORMER FDA ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER TO DISCUSS WOMEN’S HEALTH AND EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTION JAN. 5

Susan F. Wood, PhD., former Food and Drug Administration assistant commissioner for women's health and director of the Office of Women's Health will speak on "Women's Health, Emergency Contraception and the FDA.

The talk is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2006 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Olmsted Center, 2875 University Ave., on the Drake University Campus. The presentation is free and open to the public.

The Family Planning Council of Iowa, Planned Parenthood of Greater Iowa, Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the Iowa Pharmacy Association and the Iowa Commission on the Status of Women, sponsor this free presentation.
