'LET'S DU LUNCH' SPEAKER SERIES TO BEGIN FEB. 6

Diana Deibler, president of Porter & Associates, will begin the Spring "Let's DU Lunch" speaker series with a discussion of recent trends in the marketing industry on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The luncheon series, which is open to the public, is sponsored by the Drake University Central Iowa Alumni Chapter and the Greater Des Moines Partnership.

William Appelgate, vice president for planning and technology at the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center, will discuss the difference between osteopathic medicine and traditional medicine and how the university has helped shape the Des Moines community on Wednesday, March 13.

Jack Taylor, chairman and CEO of Taylor Ball, will conclude the series with a lecture on the evolution and future of the construction business on Wednesday, April 3.

The "Let's DU Lunch" speaker series will be held in the Younkers Tea Room in downtown Des Moines. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m., and the guest speakers are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m.
