FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 23, 2001 CONTACT: Randy Jones, (515) 271-3740 DRAKE BASKETBALL ANNOUNCES DATES FOR LUNCHEONS DES MOINES, IOWA - The public is invited to attend monthly luncheons, featuring Drake basketball coaches Kurt Kanaskie and Lisa Stone at Christopher's Restaurant in Beaverdale, starting at 11:30 a.m. Admission is $10 per person. The coaches will review previous games as well as comment on upcoming opponents and current events in the respective programs. The men's basketball Tip-Off Luncheons featuring Coach Kanaskie, are scheduled for Nov. 20, Dec. 11, Jan. 8, and Feb. 12. The women's basketball Fast Break Luncheons are scheduled for Nov. 7, Dec. 4, Jan. 15, and Feb. 19.
