DRAKE UNIVERSITY OFFERS YOUNG VIOLINIST PROGRAM

The Young Violinist Program offered by the Drake University Community School of Music for children ages 3-8 will begin in October.

The program provides private lessons (20 minutes in length) and group classes (30 minutes in length). Students learn children’s songs and pieces in the Suzuki style. They also learn to read notation and count rhythms as well as beginning theory. In addition, they practice performing and playing with a group.
