AUTHOR WHO TAUGHT ENGLISH IN KOSOVO TO SPEAK AT DRAKE

On Friday, April 30, Paula Huntley, author of "The Hemingway Book Club of Kosovo," will give a talk at Drake University about her experiences as a volunteer English teacher in Kosovo , Yugoslavia . The talk, which is free and open to the public, will start at 11:45 a.m. in the Honors Lounge of Medbury Hall, 1317 28th St .

Huntley's book is based upon journals that she kept while teaching in Kosovo at a time when the Kosovars were trying to recover from a devastating conflict.
