YOUNG VIOLINISTS CAN LEARN IN REVOLUTIONARY STYLE
The fall session of the Young Violinist Program begins Tuesday, August 23. Designed for children ages three to eight, the students will receive both individual and class instruction weekly.
The class will focus on Suzuki style and the students will learn only Suzuki pieces. The Suzuki philosophy believes that all children are born with profound potential ability, and that by nurturing that ability in the correct environment, it can produce people with great spirits. This internationally renowned style is known for its profound ability to stimulate and encourage children’s minds and induce learning at a young age.
Activities will include note reading, counting rhythms, beginning theory, and practice performing. Tuition prices are determined after personal consultation with the instructor of the program.
For additional information and tuition, please contact Professor Christine Schneider at 271-4011.
